Prairie Barbecue Marinade

(NC) – This is my kind of marinade. Open a bottle of beer, measure enough for the marinade and drink the rest.

Prairie Barbecue Marinade

Makes2 Cup (150 mL)

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp canola oil 30 mL
  • 1/4 cup beer 50 mL
  • 2 tbsp honey liquid, 30 mL
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard 60 mL
  • 1 tsp black pepper coarse, 5 mL

Instructions

  • Combine canola oil, beer, honey, mustard and pepper. Mix well. Excellent for pork chops.
