(NC) – This is my kind of marinade. Open a bottle of beer, measure enough for the marinade and drink the rest.
This recipe is taken from Anita Stewart’s Canada: The Food, The Recipes, The Stories (HarperCollins Canada 2008)
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp canola oil 30 mL
- 1/4 cup beer 50 mL
- 2 tbsp honey liquid, 30 mL
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard 60 mL
- 1 tsp black pepper coarse, 5 mL
Instructions
- Combine canola oil, beer, honey, mustard and pepper. Mix well. Excellent for pork chops.
