(NC) – What could be easier! Ready-made barbecue sauce and Italian salad dressing combined with a few extra ingredients to make a snappy marinade.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. pork top loin boneless, cubed
- 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 1/4 cup Italian salad dressing
- 1/2 green pepper cut into chunks
- 1/2 red pepper cut into chunks
- 1 14 oz. can pineapple chunks in juice, drained
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- In a bowl or large plastic bag, combine barbecue sauce, salad dressing, honey, lemon juice and hot pepper sauce. Mix well.
- Add pork cubes and marinate at room temperature 1 hour or up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
- Reserving the marinade, alternately skewer pork with peppers and pineapple chunks. Place skewers into folding rack.
- Grill over medium-low heat 4-6 minutes per side, turning once. During the last 3 minutes of grilling, brush reserved marinade over kebab.

Home Depot Tip:
Kabobs are made easier on the barbecue if you use a folding kebob rack instead of putting the skewers directly on the grill.
