Back To School Recipes: Dinner Made Easy to cope with September rush
(NC) – Beginning this month, in recognition of the back to school rush, Hamburger Helper and Old El Paso products are making it cheaper to buy ground beef.
‘Just look in the meat department at your favourite grocery store,’ says Ivan Guillen, spokesperson for the brands. ‘Coupon stickers on specially marked ground beef packages announce that you will get $ .75 off the meat, if you buy any two Hamburger Helper dinner mixes. As well, a second coupon sticker allows you to save $ .40 on ground beef if you buy just one Mexican style, Old El Paso item.’
In partnership with the Beef Information Centre, this countrywide program is aptly named Dinner Made Easy. Hamburger Helper is a universal family favourite; Old El Paso tacos are a fun taste-treat for families to make; and beef is an excellent source of protein, zinc and vitamin B12, plus a good source of ready-to-use iron.
