Pineapple Ginger Cleansing Smoothie

  • 2 cups pineapple chunks fresh
  • 1 small or medium-sized banana
  • 1 1-inch piece ginger fresh, peeled
  • 1 cup coconut water or water
  • 1 lime juice of
  • mint leaves fresh, optional for added freshness


  • Place the pineapple chunks, banana, fresh ginger, coconut water (or water), and lime juice into a blender.
  • If desired, add a handful of fresh mint leaves for additional flavour and freshness
  • Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy.
  • Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or tartness by adding more pineapple or lime juice if desired.
  • If the consistency is too thick, add more coconut water or water until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Pour the pineapple ginger cleansing smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
